- The Practice is keen to embrace any technological advances that benefit our patients and is one of the only practices in the area to offer the TYRO method of claiming Medicare rebates which allows the rebate to be paid into the patient’s cheque or savings account almost instantaneously using an EFTPOS card and without the need to store sensitive bank account details.
As a further service to our patients we have recently installed a QML collection centre on site which means patients can have their blood tests performed at the Practice most days between 10.30 -11.30am.
The Practice operates on an appointment system. We do try and minimise delays, but unfortunately this cannot be avoided on some days due to the nature of our business. There may be occasions where emergencies need to be attended to or longer consultations hold the Doctor up. Our staff will try and advise you at the time of any delays. At the time of making your appointment, please advise our staff if you feel that your consultation may need to be longer than a standard consultation. Please advise the staff member at the time if it is for a procedure or assessment. This will then allow appropriate time to be allocated.Appointments: Practice Hours - We are open Monday to Friday Monday 8.00am to 5.30pm Tuesday 8.00am to 5.30pm. Wednesday 8.00am to 5.30pm Thursday 8.00am to 5.30pm Friday 7.00am and close early (2pm). Fees
We do not bulk bill but a discount is given to pensioners and Concession Card Holders on presentation of a current card. DVA gold and white card holders are processed through Veteran’s Affairs.
